Here is an Email i got from my lawyer.. hopefully it woulnt go to court so ill have an free summer to travel.
Case Management Conference
Dear Peggo:
I appeared today in court for a Case Management Conference. The conference was held in chambers. The attorney appointed by Mrs. Chu’s insurance company appeared, but her private attorney did not. After inquiring about the status of the case, the Court set the following dates:
Trial: September 6, 2006 8:30 a.m.
Final Status Conference August 24, 2006 8:30 a.m.
Post-Mediation Conference: April 27, 2006 8:30 a.m.
The Court ordered the parties into mediation, and mediation must be completed by April 26, 2006. A mediation is like a conference, where a third party tries to settle the case, taking into account the evidence gathered by all sides. The parties will not have to meet or speak to each other, but they will be required to attend. The mediation will be presided over by mediator Cynthia Pasternak, and will take place at the following location:

Los Angeles CA 90067-2523
Ms. Pasternak is an excellent mediator–I have had several cases settle favorably with her help. I am enclosing a pamphlet published by the Superior Court, which explains the process.
